Welcome to Medway Cat Trust
Our aim is to
Help, Heal and Home
cats or kittens in distress, where funds allow.
The Medway Cat Trust works closely with a highly respected and long-standing veterinary surgery based in Medway.
Our aim is to treat, care and rehome cats that are abandoned locally, many have been neglected or injured, and are left at the surgery. Unfortunately we do not have facilities to take in other cats.
We use our funds for professional veterinary services, as required, and to care and nurture our patients back to health, giving them all the time and attention they need.
Rehoming centres all have long waiting lists, so we do much of this rehabilitation in a home environment.
Once bright eyes and glossy coats have been restored, our cats are ready for loving homes. They are provided with a completed health programme of flea, worming treatment, as well as vaccinations against cat flu and enteritis.
Pre–homing checks are an essential part of our work, and we happily step back in if a cat and new owner cannot settle together.
We do everything we can to make sure our cats really do land on their paws!
We update our Gallery
'Cats Available for Homing' regularly.
Please email us with specific requirements or comments using the 'Contact us' link under the Menu heading on the right.
Sponsor one of our cats waiting to be homed for £25 per year and you will receive a laminated photo of your chosen cat and regular updates.
Smaller donations to help with their care are always welcome.
